Stake-out lines

When you travel with your dogs and you don't want to leave them all the time in your car, you must be able to depend on a stake-out line. A stake-out line is a chain or cable with shorter lengths connected to it to which dogs can be attached. Below shows you my own version.

Your main line is wrapt around a tree or attached to metal stakes (as seen below) which are driven into the soil (don't forget a hammer).

An extra strong snap or carabiner is at each end of the main line.

Drop lines can be cable lines or chains attached to the main lines by quick links or wire snaps. My drop lines are 50 cm long and 1.50 m apart.

Drop lines are attached via swivels to the main lines to avoid dogs getting entangled.  A bolt snap connects the drop line to the dogs collar.
