Stake-out lines
When you travel with your dogs and you don't want to leave them all the time
in your car, you must be able to depend on a stake-out line. A stake-out line is
a chain or cable with shorter lengths connected to it to which dogs can be
attached. Below shows you my own version.

Your main line is wrapt around a tree or attached to metal stakes (as seen
below) which are driven into the soil (don't forget a hammer).

An extra strong snap or carabiner is at each end of the main line. |

| Drop lines can be cable lines or chains
attached to the main lines by quick links or wire snaps. My drop lines are
50 cm long and 1.50 m apart. |

| Drop lines are attached via swivels to the
main lines to avoid dogs getting entangled. A bolt snap connects the
drop line to the dogs collar. |
