Welcome to the our website.

We have, at present, a relatively small number of dogs so, at the moment, this web page is a family page. However, when our experience and wisdom increases we will give way to the dogs.

By getting our first husky in 1998, we were infected with the husky 'bug'. Not a year had passed before we bought our second dog. In the same year we took a third dog on board; one who needed to be re-homed. The year 2001 started with getting #4, this time a 2.5 years old male was looking for a good home. In 2002 we bred our first litter. From the two dogs we kept the little girl - Nelly (for puppy pictures click here). In 2004 we bred our second litter (for new puppy pictures click here) and kept the only girl - Brenna (second from the right). The picture on the right taken at a 'reunion' shows all of them after 6 month..........what a change (Brenna, again second from the right)

"Sled-dogs ~ More a way of life, than a hobby"

The dogs have changed our life; it's simply healthier!  By walking the dogs every day, regardless of the Scottish climate, you get more weather beaten. Muscles on your arms and legs develop due to the fact that your dogs are walking you. All attempts to sleep late fail since the new members of the family are keen to get out in the early morning. Finally, attempts from the 4 (and 2-legged) members of the pack to change the pecking order sharpen your senses. For me, as a scientist, the husky 'bug' is one of the few cases where an infection is actually healthy for you.

Iditarod musher Dewey Halverson: "Dog mushing is a powerful addiction. I would have been better off with heroin; it would have been cheaper and less addictive."

from 'The Speed Mushing Manual' by Jim Welch

Shortly after we bought our first husky, we joined the Scottish Siberian Husky Club and Sled Dog Association of Scotland and we are members of the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain. By attending races (see short video clip here) we met a number of fellow husky owners, gradually making more and more new friends locally.

With this page we hope to make friends around the world, sharing the pleasures and problems of our favorites - the Siberian Husky. We hope you find this site useful and informative, and if you want more information feel free to contact us.
